1972 Gibson Les Paul '58 ('54) Reissue
Made in Kalamazoo, MI.
Price: 11,000 euros
Completely original instrument.
Very good condition, superb patina.
Exceptional and very rare guitar. Model offered by Gibson in 1971/72, with only 1,000 units manufactured.
This is the closest reissue to a 1954 Les Paul Standard in terms of feel. Same size, same neck angle, wrap-around bridge, powerful and clear P90 pickups (embossed Gibson), bridge pickups very similar to a 1950s P90.
A unique sound, fabulous handling, a guitar that you just want to play for hours/days on end, without stopping.
Delivered in a TKL hard case (not original).
1979 Gibson ES-335
Made in Kalamazoo, MI.
Price: €4,800.
The guitar is completely original, including the frets, which are in excellent condition.
Excellent cosmetic condition as well, the varnish is perfect. It is not cracked, and the patina is superb.
The pickups are the original Gibson Tar-Back pickups (original split pickups on these models, via the second toggle switch on the cutaway). The sound is precise, clear, warm, and defined, allowing you to play almost anything, from jazz to hard rock, country, funk, or blues.
It is a very reliable instrument that stays in tune well and is very well adjusted (super comfortable to play, easy neck).
I have played it several times in concerts, in the studio, and in some Tone Factory videos.
It weighs 3.7 kg and comes in a case (non-original hard case).
